Jose F. D’Angelo

Jose Francisco D’Angelo is a rising force in international Thoroughbred racing, known for his rapid ascent from a racing family in CaracasTrainer Jose F. D'Angelo, Venezuela, to the upper ranks of the North American training scene. Born on April 17, 1990, he is the son of leading Venezuelan trainer Francisco “Kiko” D’Angelo and grew up immersed in the sport, developing a deep understanding of horsemanship from an early age. After beginning his professional career in Venezuela in 2012, D’Angelo quickly made history by becoming the youngest trainer to win the country’s most prestigious race, the Clásico Simón Bolívar, in 2014. He went on to become a champion trainer in his home country before relocating to the United States in 2019, where he established a base in South Florida and began building a reputation for developing high-level performers.
