Believe the Hype is currently in training at Palm Meadows in Florida, under the guidance of a new addition to our trainer roster, Jose D’Angelo, one of the sharpest young trainers in thoroughbred racing.

Jose has alreaady trained several Grade 1 winners in his very young career, including 2025 Breeder’s Cup Champions, SHISOSPICY & BENTORNATO. He is also the trainer of Grade 1 winner HOWARD WOLOWITZ.

Jose has already surpassed $27,000,000 in earnngs and has almost 600 victories in a training career that started in earnest in just 2019.  He also sports a 19% win rate and 49% ITM rate from that time through January 2026. We are thrilled and excited to have Jose training for us!

Jose is based at the Palm Meadows training facility near Gulfstream Park in Florida and also keeps a string in Kentucky.

Believe the Hype will be stabled in Florida during the winter and early spring. He will move to Kentucky in the summer months. Race availability, stakes opportunities, etc, will determine future plans to ship elsewhere as well.
